This is THAILANDIA!

False happiness breeds arrogance. True happiness brings joy, wisdom, and compassion.

Between Golden Temples, tropical islands, and smiles that stay
with you

Some countries you visit once. Others keep calling you back, even after you’re home.

For me, Thailand falls into the second category.

It’s a destination that manages to surprise just about anyone, no matter what kind of trip they’re after. It could be your first big adventure in Asia, a backpacking trip, a honeymoon, or just a simple beach escape. And whichever it is, it always leaves something behind.

Thailand is made of contrasts that live together in perfect balance. On one side, the chaos of Bangkok, with its markets, glittering temples, and the smell of street food drifting down every street. On the other, the mountains of the north, where the pace slows down and days drift by between cafés, forests, and tiny villages. And then there are the islands, each with its own personality: some lively and packed with bars, others perfect for anyone who just dreams of crystal-clear water and endless sunsets.

This page will gather every article I publish about Thailand: itineraries, practical guides, trip-planning tips, and places that, for one reason or another, truly deserve to be experienced.

Thailand at a glance

Why visit Thailand

Thailand is one of those countries that manages to win over almost everyone.

If you love the sea, you’ll find some of the most beautiful islands in Southeast Asia. If you’re more into culture, you can explore centuries-old temples, ancient capitals, and traditional markets. Trekking fans will discover a north full of mountains and forests, while anyone who travels mainly for food will find themselves face to face with one of the most beloved cuisines in the world.

It’s also a perfect destination for a first trip to Asia: getting around is easy, tourism is well organized, and the warmth of the locals makes everything feel simpler.

When to go

There’s no single perfect time that works for all of Thailand.

The country is large, and the climate varies quite a bit between the north, the center, and the south. In general, November through March is the best window for visiting Bangkok, the north, and most of the islands in the Andaman Sea.

The islands in the Gulf of Thailand, like Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, and Koh Tao, follow a slightly different seasonal pattern and can be a great choice even during the European summer.

Before booking, it’s always worth checking the weather for the area you want to visit.

Regions to discover

A city that never sleeps.
