Some people picture Mexico and immediately think of the Riviera Maya’s white sand beaches. Others dream of Chichén Itzá, tacos eaten on the street, or the colorful houses of San Miguel de Allende.

The truth is, Mexico is one of those countries that’s simply impossible to sum up in a single image. It’s a place where the desert meets the sea, where colonial towns exist side by side with massive metropolises, and where Maya culture keeps telling a story rooted thousands of years deep.

It’s a trip built on contrasts. Noisy markets and silent beaches. Days spent swimming in cenotes and evenings spent at a little table with a plate of tacos in front of you, music drifting in from the plaza in the background.
