Living in Playa del Carmen

Let’s say that living in a poor country like Mexico but in a super touristy place is not like living in my country!

Wandering around the city, I really saw things that are sometimes unthinkable for us, how they drive like crazy, park their car everywhere, how they have the propensity to sell whatever comes their way, how sometimes certain people try to cheat you because you are a tourist (in which city in the world it is not done).

I must say that these first few days I still feel a bit disoriented, I still have to understand where I am and what I have to do.

I think that these first days I will enjoy some well-deserved holidays and then I will understand well where I am and what I have to do, for the moment I enjoy the exchange between euro and Mexican pesos which these days are really high and I’m going to buy myself something nice 🙂

One of the things that surprised me the most so far? With how little money can you make a really big expense!
